You must already have a tent. You will need to bring whatever you need for personal comfort such as pillows, blankets, etc. Unless you want to rough it. Bring what you will need for cooking on the fire. If you have a camp stove, bring pots and pans that are light and fit the burners well. A good basic first aid kit is essential. Lighting equipment such as flashlights and lanterns will be needed. Bring light rope for making a clothes line so you can air out your bedding during the day. Otherwise it can become damp and uncomfortable. Whatever you need for recreational supplies you have room for like games, and stuff. FOOD! Bring coffee and condiments and a large cooler. Your food will be better if you shop at a Market near your campground on a daily or every other day basis. You'll have fresher, safer food and save a bundle on bags of ice. I've been tent camping for 35 years and I've learned a lot. Don't bring anything useless like a Laptop computer or anything you will not need. Some simple nice things to have are a hammock that can roll down into a small package and can be slung between two trees. A good camping knife, a hatchet or machete, and a small bow saw is handy also for collecting firewood. An 8 foot square poly tarp is a good idea. It takes no room folded flat and you'll see why you need it. Bring a couple of Bic lighters and/or waterproof matches. You'll need them. I could write a book here, plenty of material.

allot of good ideas already but i like my air mattress with a battery powered inflater/deflater
sheets to fit pillows and sleeping bag for a comfortor just like home they also have battery powered fans that do a good job, if fire starting is a problem try the starter logs, much easier always have a small flashlight and pocket knife on you first aid kits should have burn relief gel and any medications you take bring an extra pair of glasses |

make sure you bring all the food you will need for the trip as well as three days food extra. You never know what will happen. Also make sure you have a radio and ann emergency blanket. You can never be too safe
