Everything that you use on a daily bases. Stoke your camper like you would your Kitchen. Plus the outdoor stuff like making for Samor's. Coolers are for food storeage untell you get to campsite. Make sure the propane tanks are full. Have matches and even those long lighters for the BBQ. Don't forget the TP. Bug bite, asprin, and such meds that you would or might need. sleeping gear and always take extra blankets just in case it get cold.Lawn chairs for the fire and ofcourse the axe or chainsaw with fuel and oil. Find the dead standing wood for the camp fire.

I have a couple of lists we made up for our customers (I'm in the RV trailer business) - email me through my profile and I'll be happy to send you copies of them. They're a bit large to list here.

stock you trailer with the items that you use at home, use light weight things, paper plates and utensils, only one pot and one frying pan,
we put Xmas lights around the camp as do many other campers, a piece of indoor -outdoor carpet to help with dirt, welcome mats, fold up chairs, we pack as light as possible, we carry out satellite dish, but yet we like to be comfortable, we got a flush king for when we dump, it really helps with odors, we love RVing, i hope you do to |

My husband & I live in our RV, so we have everything with us all the time, but my sister & her family used a travel trailer for many years and she just bought an extra set of household items that stayed with the trailer- a set of lightweight plastic dishes, pots and pans, a kettle, cooking utensils, inexpensive silverware, towels, bedding, first aid kit, paper goods like napkins, plates, paper towels, TP.... you get the idea. That way, the only thing she had to worry about was packing the food and clothing for each trip. It saved a lot of work.
Hope this helps! Happy camping! :-D |
