you can go fishing if there is a lake near by. you can also bring along a board game that you all enjoy playing....
    hoped that helped a little.

Depending on the location of your campsite,(mountain, forest, lake, desert etc.)You can hike, explore, fish, swim, climb a tree, collect rocks, look for fossils, bird watch, take photographs, paint, draw, the list is really endless. It all depends on what you and your friends, like to do.Some planning always helps,so you'll have the materials or equipment needed to pursue what ever you would like to do.

lets see, depending on what you like, theres fishing and the like if your patient, hikes and climbs and stuff if you enjoy exploring or nice views, camp is a good place for conversation too. As other have said you probably want to bring a board game or other form of entertainment. Though if its not someplace with other activities i'm at a bit of a loss other than this, i've always been to places that have archery ranges and stuff.

Dominoes are fun, so are dice games. Cards can be difficult outside a tent due to wind sometimes. Cooking is fun, looking for firewood is a chore but gives you a chance to explore the area around you. Hiking and exploring the near areas are also fun. Meeting your neighbors can be enjoyable if you like meeting new people. Alot of the time the best memories are made by spontaneous humor. So just go without much of an agenda and enjoy the experience.

Gosh, can't you just enjoy camp surroundings, short hikes, wild life, nude swim in a creek, river, pond or lake, sounds, etc.

Many state and national parks have interpretive nature trails. Pick up a booklet and follow numbered posts. As others have said I always carry my game bag when camping in case of bad weather. I carry a backgammon board, dominoes, dice, cards and some of the Hasbro express games. There is also plaster casting animal tracks. My favorite thing to do is taking a walk around the campground right about sunrise, lots of critters scurrying about before everyone gets up banging around. As you get more experience camping and fishing etc there is always sitting around the campfire and telling lies, eerrr stories, about previous adventures
