Oh, then you need some viennas, sardines, hot sauce, crackers, cheese in a can, pop tarts, water, chips snack cakes. Sleeping bags, bug repellant, matchs or lighter. Hot dogs should be good with our frig the first meal.

Cold fried chicken is one of our favorite. I always get up and cook breakfast, bacon or sausage, eggs and fried biscuits in the skillet. Take 2 skillets. Or an electric skillet if you are at a camp ground that has elec. And a fan! Take burger & hot dogs, bag of taters and one of those wire racks from walmart to grill over a fire. I make a skillet of fried taters for supper with fried bologna or steaks or burgers. A crock pot is great if you have elec. you can put lots of stuff in there to cook all day. Lots of ice and cokes, jug of water for drinking, chips, cookies and snack cakes. Some instant tea is good for a glass at a time. Bread mayou mustard, catsup, steak sauce pickles/relish etc... We always have beer for the adults! You need oil, hope you catch some fish cause there is nothing better than that!!!! We go about every weekend that we can. We have a capmper so it easy to haul all that stuff. A tent is more trouble to load up supplies for each time. You can just leave stuff in the camper.....One of those ice chest that has a plug in for the car is good for the perishables if you don't have a frig.

You'll need to be better prepared than that... but here goes.

Can I assume you'll have access to a cooler and steady supply of ice? ... Let's hope so.

Breakfast - Breakfast bars, cereal, milk (try the smaller, single-serve bottles instead of a carton or gallon jugs), fruit juice.

Lunch - Sandwiches: I suggest you use the small single-serve bags (like the Buddig brand) that saves you from spoiling stuff in the cooler. Try going with soft tortillas and making wraps instead of a regular loaf of bread that gets squashed. Chicken-of-the-Sea has small cans of tuna salad packed with crackers. You can also find a BumbleBee brand product of the same thing and they also have a seafood and chicken salad. I find them at the dollar stores. Get the small tubs of fruit that do not require refrigeration and keep them out of the sun for a treat.

Dinners - Without a fire you are going to get bored of sandwiches but you are short on options here. Try some thick rolls that will keep for a few days. Canned tuna, a small jar of mayo and a small jar of pickel relish will make a batch of tuna salad. You can also get canned chicken that will accomplish the same thing, but not as tasty. You can get pre-cooked tuna steaks in foil packs that do not require refrigeration. Spam and cheese sandwiches will fill you up. The fruit cups make a tasty dessert.

Snacks - If you're gonna bring chips you're better off bringing the canned type like Pringles. Avoid chocolatey stuff as it tends to get melty in the summer. Save space and sugar by cutting back on the soda pop. Try some flavored iced teas (sun-tea rocks) instead. Diet drinks dehydrate for with no nutritional gain and the sugary stuff attracts bugs. A bag of apples is a handy item to bring.

Taste test anything before you add it to the menu. Some people hate Spam ... but there are other canned hams that can be a hefty meal at a low cost. Bring small jars of condiments and lots of extra Ziploc bags to protect stuff from getting wet in the cooler.
